Finally, a Dog!!!

After much effort, I caught up with Katie
(or rather, my mom and grandmother held
her so that I could pet her and quit chasing
her around the grass). It was a lovely
moment.

Some artsy shots my mom took.

Here you can see how tall the Emerald
Mound is.

I am pretending that I am in Baby
Abercrombie here.

I missed Charlie a lot on the trip. I saw
a dog named Katie and immediately
started scanning the hilltop for where she
was running.

She was all the way on the other mound
with her family.

Lots of Indian Mounds in MS

I love my grandmas.

Stomping up another hill.

Glamour shot, if not for the hitch up
of the pants. Curses.

Trying to get away again.

More fun at the Indian Mound

Here I am tromping through the grass
near the Indian mounds.

Here's the hut from the outside.

Takes at least two to keep up with me.

Me with great-grandma again.

More Natchez pics

Last river stroll shot.

With my great-grandmother inside a
replica of a Native American hut.

How I felt about entering into the hut.

Note my distended belly from my great-
grandma's bacon and egg breakfasts every
morning. Delicious.

The River Runs Through It

Here I am strolling with my mother and
grandmother along the mighty Mississippi
River.

I'm not too sure about this concept, but did
eventually warm up to tugboats.

Especially when allowed to get out and
roam free.

More roaming free . . . .

Travels to Natchez, Mississippi

So I went to Natchez to visit with my great
grandparents. Here I am checking out the
planes in the Atlanta airport.

And having snacks. Snacks are key.

And more snacks.

Then we stopped in a restaurant in Jackson
before driving to Natchez. The snacks
were not enough road fuel for me, so I ate
lunch, too.

Happy Halloween 2: The Return of Dylan Bean

Mama even painted some tiger stripes on me.

I got a big kick out of that.

Daddy was not too keen on me eating a bunch of chocolate. He says I have too much energy.

Boo!

Happy Halloween

For my first Halloween as a big boy I went as a lion...

...you'll note my tail in this picture. This costume was originally worn by my Aunt Becca (or maybe my Aunt Valerie, there seems to be some dispute).

Dad dressed up as himself. How creative.

Raooooarrrrrh!
